Mr.Hackney was born in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA. He grew up in both Atlanta, Georgia and Tallahassee, Florida. He majored in Anthropology and Asian Studies at Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. He came to Japan in August this year. He is currently teaching English as an ALT at Ikuno High School in Matsubara City. He enjoys studying Japanese language, Japanese history and Japanese art. He loves learning about other cultures. He also loves music and plays the drum.
This is his second speech for the FADIG meeting. His first one was in October.

Mr.Chan was born in Hong Kong and brought up in the UK. He studied Electronic Engineering in the UK. He came to Japan in July, 2006. He is a pastor of international church at Ikoma and an English teacher at Tezukayama University in Ikoma, Nara. He is interested in the spiritual well-being of people; education, especially concerning children.

She is currently teaching English as an ALT at a junior high school and elementary schools in Neyagawa. She speaks Cebuano and Tagalog besides English. She is interested in mastering the Japanese language. She is also interested in learning different cultures and traditions.

Mr. N was born in Shanghai, China. He came to Japan at the age of 16. He went to California at the age of 21 and graduated from California State University, Sacramento, majoring in Business Finance.
He loves computer and has his own website. He used to play tennis a lot and was in the tennis club back in high school.

Mr. G was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the USA. He studied biology at Tufts University. He came to Japan in 2004 and is currently teaching English as an ALT in Kaizuka City. He is interested in dance, languages, and meeting people from other countries. He studies Japanese and is interested in Japanese culture.

We would like to collect our membership fee ¥2,000 for the first half of this year in April .( Our annual fee is ¥4,000.)

Mr. Griffiths was born in London(UK) and brought up mainly in the UK, though he spent three years in Boston ( USA ) for junior high school. He studied Russian and American history, politics and society at the University of East Anglia ( U.E.A ), Norwich. He came to Japan in 2001. He is currently teaching English as an NET (Native English Teacher) at junior high schools and elementary schools in Neyagawa. He is interested in history ( particularly European and Japanese).
