Program : Language Death :  Do We Care Enough?

Mr. Halewood was born on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England,
and mainly brought up in Manchester and North Buckinghamshire, England.
He has a B.Sc. degree in Zoology from the University of London.
He came to Japan in May 1973 (Showa 48), and taught at Baika Women’s
University for 29 years until he retired two years ago.
He has visited many countries in Europe, the Middle East and South Asia. 
He enjoys hiking, cycling, birdwatching, stamp collecting and rock music.
